Email Notifications
The Email Notifications module enables users to stay informed about critical issues in their data workflows—even when they’re not logged into the platform.
When enabled, users will receive automated email alerts whenever a task or workflow run fails. These notifications are designed to reduce downtime and improve responsiveness by surfacing issues as they happen. These notifications can be scoped by environment, so setting up Prod env notifications will not affect Dev env runs, for example.
Go to Settings -> Notifications to setup this module. You will notice parallels between Notifications and Access Control: emails can be scoped to not only environments, but also organizations and the entire enterprise if desired.

In Settings -> Notifications, you can configure task and workflow run notifications on the environment/organization/enterprise level.
Notifications will be sent for all tasks and workflows within the scoped entity. You may add individual users or user groups, and even enable/disable users at will without entirely removing them from the notification list.

Adding a new user to task notification alerts.
If a workflow or task run fails, an email like the one below will be sent to all registered users and groups.
