What is Advanced Options?

The Advanced Options tab is a set of features available for expert-level users. By default, you will not be able to see this tab, unless you turn on Advanced Options inside the Systems Settings tab. Please visit Enabling Advanced Options to learn how to toggle on/off this feature set.

Within Advanced Options, you be able to manipulate the state tables for your platform. Keep in mind, this may impact your environment in unexpected ways! Please ensure you are educated in state manipulation before you modify these tables.

What about my Data Sources?

Metadata Catalogs (Object List and Field List) functionality is already available in the Data Sources tab. Please visit the Metadata Extraction and Metadata Catalog pages for all data source functionality!

Read/Write Tables

The following tables are modifiable by users with Writer or Admin access for the Environment in question.

Data Pipelines

• Orchestration: Define Load Group behavior.
• Execution/Scheduling: Trigger and schedule Load Groups.

Modeling

• Model: Create, modify, and delete models.
• Model - Entity: Create, modify, and delete model entities.
• Model - Entity Column: Create, modify and delete columns of model entities.
• Model - Entity Dependency: Define model entity build dependencies.

Publishing

• Publish - Entity: Create, modify, and delete publishing configurations.

Log Tables

The following tables are read-only for all users, regardless of access-level for the Environment in question.

Acquisition

• Log - Extract: Read-access to the logging table for object extraction.
• Log - Ingest: Read-access to the logging table for object ingestion.

Modeling

• Log - Model: Read-access to the logging table for object modeling.

Publishing

• Log - Publish: Read-access to the logging table for publishing.
